What consumed the time of pre-computer geeks? Radio, stereo equipment, photography, telephones, and other things. Images from my years at the University of Rochester from 1977 to 1981. Sources include my own photos, campus newspapers, and yearbooks.
A flashback of a flashback. In 1987, Houston's KLOL FM 101.1 re-enacted a day of broadcasting in 1967 to honor the 20th. anniversary of the Sgt. Pepper album. On Christmas Eve and Christmas day 2004, record amounts of snow fell on the Texas and Louisiana Gulf coasts. Areas in South Texas received the most. A recent event that has already achieved nostalgia status.
